Hello!

I’ve always been a creative person and I love what I do. I thrive on the challenges that come along with helping someone realize their vision. I’ve worked on award winning documentaries using both traditional cameras and remote aerial camera systems. I can help you realize your idea from script creation to editing and polishing the final product.

I have a BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and MFA from the University of Michigan. I’ve worked as a portrait/editorial and have sold my fine art work for years. I got my start working with video on feature documentary that I was hired to shoot stills on. Thrown into the fire I quickly learned how shoot and edit my own material with the same creative techniques I used to make my photographs. I’ve since gone on to worked as cinematographer on additional feature documentaries and have produced numerous short videos for business.  I’m currently finishing a feature length documentary on which I did every part of the production.

I discovered camera drones in 2012 while researching possible solutions to a complicated shot on the production of a film. I’ve been flying them ever since. I believe camera drones are one the most powerful tools a cinematographer can use. That said, there are not a lot of licensed drone pilots that posses the fine art and traditional cinematography skills that I have. I view drones as part of my tool kit and I approach each individual job conceptualizing how I can push myself to give my clients the highest possible production value. I’m currently finishing a feature length documentary on which I did every part of the production. No matter the size of your project I’m here to help you realize that idea.
